These days it is so easy to just buy a new home. Prices are not so nice, so if you already have a home, it is easier simply to renew and adapt to their current needs rather than buying a new one. Let’s see how this is done. This study is in Tel Aviv, Israel. T an apartment of 40 square meters and the owner needed more space at home could not Afford again so I decided not to renew its place.

The renovation was supported by the SFARO Architects / Nir Sfadia Bosmat Rothemand Lobo and the project was completed in 2011. the small apartment covered only40 square meters so there was not much to work. However, the architects managed to transform it into a spacious house which now includes a bedroom, a large kitchen and a bedroom full size queen.
They managed to do this by condensing all program functions and storage units in a bucket in the center. Cubes located in the department into four zones, maintaining a circulation of around 360 degrees. The space now seems bigger than it really is and that is both functionally divided. Now is a floor multi-functional and perfectly adapted to the needs of the owner. And that’s how you get a new place, without even moving.
